Moxie Mothers Chicks

Last night we picked out a movie on Netflix to livestream to the computer and lay on the floor to give the chicks some attention again. As they get bigger, this is going to happen less and less, so we enjoy it while we can.

Moxie acts just like a nervous mother guarding her pups. No matter how many times they peck her nose with those sharp little beaks, she never snaps or behaves badly. She continues to want to lick at them and if they seem to be getting too spread out, she wants to herd them back into a tight huddle.
